At the heart of the Black Liberation Experience is a powerful collective of visionaries, organizers, artists, educators, and freedom fighters rooted in the rich soil of Louisiana’s legacy of resistance. We are descendants of revolutionaries, culture bearers, and community builders who believe in the transformative power of Black self-determination, sovereignty, and joy.

 

Our team is united by a shared commitment to dismantling systems of oppression and cultivating spaces where Black life is honored, protected, and celebrated. Each member brings a unique blend of lived experience, ancestral wisdom, and radical imagination to the work of liberation.
