About the Role
The ideal candidate is highly organized, relational, and committed to justice-centered work. They
should be comfortable working with grassroots leaders, community partners, and directly impacted communities while helping keep project activities moving forward in a thoughtful, trauma- informed way.
This is a grant funded position with a stipend amount of $3000.00. A commitment of 10 to 30 hours per month.
Requirements
Key responsibilities include:
Supporting outreach and relationship-building with community partners and participants
Coordinating logistics for meetings, trainings, listening sessions, and events
Assisting with trusted messenger and storyteller engagement
Tracking attendance, follow-up, and field activity documentation
Supporting project implementation across multiple Louisiana communities
Preferred qualifications:
Experience in community organizing, outreach, coalition work, or grassroots project coordination
Strong communication and follow-through
Ability to manage multiple tasks and relationships at once
Commitment to racial justice, community safety, and impacted-community leadership
Familiarity with Louisiana communities is strongly preferred

Location: Louisiana, with work centered in Orleans Parish, Terrebonne Parish, and East Baton Rouge
Parish Louisiana Liberation and Sovereignty Collective is seeking a Co-Field Coordinator to support the Louisiana Truth and Safety Project, a community-led narrative change initiative focused on advancing prevention, equity, restoration, and non-carceral solutions. This role will help coordinate community outreach, partner engagement, event logistics, trusted messenger support, and follow-up across key project activities.
